This patch adds a now policy adding some ground rules for using AI in the shpool project. In general this is pretty permissive, but we do ban the use of AI for generating issues and FRs since that generally just adds noise. I would rather see your prompt that generated the issue.

Honestly, I have no idea how to enfoce this. Some people are really confident in their ability to spot AI generated text, but I'm not. Sometimes it's really obvious, but I don't want to accuse someone of using AI to generate something when they didn't. Maybe they just like to annotate their codeblocks a lot (I know I do!). Still, hopefully having a policy will cause people to be tasteful about how they use AI, but if they aren't there isn't too much we can really do. |
