Hi there, I am Şefika 👋

I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering at Ege University in İzmir, with a focus on the Semantic Web, under the supervision and academic guidance of Prof. Murat Osman Ünalır. Then, I graduated from Data Science master program of the University of Potsdam and have started to pursue PhD under the Corporate Semantic Web Group of Freie Universitaet Berlin. My interests are continual learning, adversarial training, robustness, cognitive science, knowledge graphs, and ontology engineering (💚)

🌱 I submitted a journal paper "Retrieval-Augmented Generation-based Relation Extraction" to Semantic Web Journal in March 2024. It is SWJ. It is just accepted to Semantic Web journal 🎉 Its next version is accepted by XLLM workshop @ACL 2025.

🌱 Another journal paper "Large Language Models for Continual Relation Extraction" is just accepted by IEEE Access Journal.
