This repository hosts community-contributed translation strings and presets for the FxSound application.
Translation files are located in the Strings/ directory.
To translate FxSound application strings to a new language, copy the file FxSound.txt to FxSound.<language code>.txt. Edit the new file and add the translated strings to the right.
For new translations and translation error fixes, please use the "translation" branch and create a pull request.
Audio presets are organized in the Presets/ directory:
Presets/Bonus/– Official bonus presets.Presets/Community/– Presets contributed by the community.
To contribute a new preset:
- Add your preset files under
Presets/Community/. - Create a pull request with your additions.
- Make sure your contributions are well-formatted and clean.
- Open an issue if you’re unsure or want to discuss a contribution idea.
- All contributions are subject to review before merging.
This is a public repository with no age restrictions. All contributions must be appropriate for a general audience, including minors.
- No sexual or adult content — preset names must not reference sexual acts, pornography, or adult-only themes.
- No offensive language — avoid profanity, slurs, hate speech, or discriminatory language of any kind.
- No references to harmful or illegal activity — preset names must not promote violence, drug use, or illegal acts.
- Keep names descriptive and relevant — preset names should reflect the audio characteristics or intended use case (e.g., genre, mood, device).
- Be respectful and inclusive toward all community members.
- Do not impersonate others or misrepresent the origin of a contribution.
- Spam submissions or bulk uploads of low-quality presets may be removed without notice.
Contributions that violate these guidelines will be removed. Repeated violations may result in being blocked from contributing to this repository.
