I currently serve as Treasurer and Webmaster for the Bee Sanctuary Movement, a Manchester-based charity dedicated to redeveloping green spaces for the benefit of bees and other pollinating insects, while promoting public awareness of bee conservation.
I am currently enrolled in the Full Stack Open programme at the University of Helsinki, a rigorous course in modern web application development using JavaScript. The curriculum covers React, Redux, Node.js, MongoDB, GraphQL, and TypeScript, with a focus on single-page applications and RESTful API design. This builds on earlier University of Helsinki courses I have completed: Introduction to Programming, Advanced Course in Programming, and Building AI.
My current technical skills include Python and Tkinter, and I have applied these to develop Tallis Ledger — a desktop accounting application built for small charities. My goal is to extend this into a full-stack web application, to be hosted on the Bee Sanctuary Movement's server.

In 2023 I completed The Elder Agenda, a novel with an occult theme, which I have self-published on Amazon.
Outside of technology and writing, I maintain an active interest in classical music and keep a regular fitness routine.
