James Timms Avatar

Hi. I'm James πŸ‘‹

aka Timmsy β€’ Fullstack Developer β€’ UK πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

🧠 Origin Story

  • Started coding in 2008 because I was curious
  • Went professional in 2021 because apparently you can get paid for this
  • Still debugging things at 2am because I enjoy it

I like building clean systems, smooth UIs, and tools that actually solve problems instead of pretending to.

If something can be automated, optimised, or refactored, I will find it.

⚑ Dev Mode: Activated

I’m on the autistic spectrum.

That means:

  • Hyperfocus
  • Detail obsession
  • Refactoring for fun
  • Arguing with indentation

Clean code is not optional. It is a lifestyle choice.

πŸ›  Arsenal

🐘 PHP Things

PHP Laravel Symfony

Yes, I actually enjoy backend architecture.

βš™οΈ JavaScript Chaos

JavaScript TypeScript Node.js Vue.js React Next.js Nuxt

I like frameworks.
I do not like rewriting the same form validation twice.

🧱 Microsoft Energy

.NET C#

Yes, I can context switch without crying.

πŸ—ƒ Data Layer

MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB

Relational when it matters.
NoSQL when it makes sense.
Never because it's trendy.

πŸ“Œ Things I Built (And Did Not Abandon)

πŸ–₯️ System Diagnostics

🎯 Current Objectives

  • Build cleaner systems than yesterday
  • Make UIs smoother than they need to be
  • Ship things properly
  • Keep learning

Code is not magic.
It's controlled chaos with syntax highlighting.
