I make Linux tools to make Linux a better place . I use Rust and Zig. Most of what I build is stuff I wanted to improve on β AUR helpers, package managers, fetch tools β so I made them myself.
I'm a contributor to Shelly-ALPM ( best project to start learning c++ and dotnet the founder is also chill) and spend a lot of time thinking about package management and how the Arch ecosystem fits together under the hood. @theguynamedcj helps out on some projects.
Currently learning more Zig and C. Zig is a weird language in the best way.

rustpack β A package manager built on ALPM, the same library pacman uses. This one goes pretty deep into how Arch actually manages packages.
Melon β An AUR helper written in Zig. Handles dependency resolution, PKGBUILD parsing, the works.
parut β A nicer frontend for paru. Because paru is great but the UX has room to breathe.
rustfetch β System fetch tool in Rust, available on the AUR. The one that got the most traction.
zigfetch β Rewrote rustfetch in Zig. Turned out better than expected.
rtimer β A terminal timer. Small and does exactly what it says.
Rust and Zig mostly. Open to chatting about Linux tooling, systems stuff, or anything in that space.
