I'm a hobbyist programmer who codes for the love of the game. I program anything that peeks my interest, mostly game development and reverse engineering. I have no interest in network programming.
Anything but C/C++ 🤢. I like learning new languages and tools, I can easily move between them. I use them depending on my goal. The following is a list in no particular order:
- Odin - Low level programming for long term niche projects.
- Godot - Prototyping with 2D/3D graphics and GUI.
- Python - Quick scripts for making stuff run asap.
- C# - Contributing to community projects.
- F# - To become big brained.
- Txt - Text files everywhere, Text files for devlogs, Text files for logs, Text files for brainstorming ideas before writting a line of code.
My Magnum Opus is the HardTime port, translating the old fella into a modern graphics APIs, finally making it run natively to scratch my nostalgic itch, hopefully finished in 3 years. My second active project is the SSX-Library. A tool for facilitating modding for SSX games. I'm not the lead dev but I contribute and aid on its development almost weekly. (Pls merge my pull requests faster!!)
Why is Chip8 decompiler my most starred repo?
I have no idea. Maybe because it's written in python. Or because more people are getting into automated decompilation and want to start small. I might port the project to F# and make it even better, documenting the process for teaching potential, who knows.
