Review and clean up accumulated git stashes

There are currently many local stashes in this repo (e.g. pre-commit-stash and older WIP stashes). We didn't create new stashes in this session, but the landing checklist calls for stash cleanup.\n\nSuggested next steps:\n- Decide which stashes are still needed and apply/drop them\n- Drop stale pre-commit stashes\n- Consider moving important stashes to branches
