Does it work on ubuntu 25.10?

i dont know what gnome version this uses so i just gave the ubuntu version, ive tried it and installed all dependencies but it just doesnt seem to work when i enable it in gnome shell extensions (its greyed out)

Hi! Ubuntu 25.10 uses GNOME 49 so yes it absolutely should work.

Do you mean the switch in the Extensions app is grayed out when enabled? If so, that’s expected, the extension uses the unlock-dialog session mode.

Have you tried locking the screen to see if it activates?
