Location on dates and values

Would it be possible to establish some way to configure the file location for dates and values?

what I think you're requesting ties into a larger feature that would be really useful: being able to override the auto-detected type for each column. Our team won't have the bandwidth for this in the near future, but I would love to review any PRs, if anyone feels up to it!
