What did you expect to happen?

On first load the the value of editorValue is truthy so it should append it as default value.

Also its better if we can have controlled input, currently we cant pass editor value directly to editor instance only onchnage handler is given. if we can pass value/content also to editor instance then my issue can be resolved

BlockNote intentionally does not use "controlled" input for performance / compatibility reasons.

I can't reproduce your bug. If you're still seeing issues with initialContent please share a reproducbile sandbox
