Project paths to points using Multi-Dimensional Scaling. Similar paths will be closer to each other, dissimilar farther apart. We just need to provide a similarity matrix for the paths, which can be calculated in various ways. Multiple similarity measures could be provided or let the user add similarity scores between 2 paths (just like in ranking scores).
